Fumigation of the OR / Sterilisation Of Operating Theatres
.
Fumigation is an age old process of sterilising the environment - a sick room or operating theatre, for example. It is done with Formalin fumes, which are very pungent and harmful.
When a room is fumigated, it is tightly closed and sealed before fumigation. The room is opened after fumigation, 12 to 24 hours later. The room can be used again once all the fumes are out.
OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Administration) indicated that Formaldehyde should be handled in the workplace as a potential carcinogen.

Sanosil S010
Disinfectant for aerosol application suited for high germ load
Sanosil S010 is the strongest disinfectant in the Sanosil range and used without diluting. Besides being effective against bacteria, viruses, yeasts and fungi, Sanosil S010 is also capable of neutralising certain fungi (e.g. aflatoxins) through oxidation.
This is why S010 is the preferred aerosol for mould remediation. Contrary to application with paint rolls and brushes, the aerosol also captures and combats airborne mould spores and their components. However, please note that a thick mould layer cannot be combated through aerosol disinfection alone. Surfaces showing visible mould infestation must be treated beforehand with a brush or roll. Sanosil S010 can be filled directly into a suitable aerosol device without dilution and/or addition of fogging agents and then sprayed.
Due to the share of water in the formula, there is no risk of fire or explosion.
The treated room can be used again without hesitation after approx. 1 to 2 hours.
